We had a special Valentines Day this year because my Mom came out for a week visit. We had such a great time with her and wished that she lived closer. We had our traditional pink heart pancake breakfast with pink milk. Munched on all of the candy from the Valentines Day celebrations at school, and hung out. Then we had our really fancy dinner! (Not) We had our heart shaped pizza, with red Jello, and Red Kool-Aid (My kids request this every year). Then because my Mom was in town, Scott and I got to go out and cross-country skiing. We went late that night after the kids were asleep and it was so much fun. We brought hot chocolate and enjoyed being together in such a quiet peaceful place. Defiantly better than a fancy restaurant for me!
