That's what Dad's are for!

For Talking
For Attacking

For Tickling

For Wrestling

I love to watch them interact with Scott.

When I grow up!

My boys love their dad. They can't wait to grow up to be "BIG" like their dad. Each morning as Scott leaves for work, Crew stands on the steps to wave goodbye until he is out of sight. Cade's new thing is saying that his Daddy is so big that he can reach anything, catch anything, jump off anything, and basically thinks that he is a superhero. It is so sweet to see them say these things about their Dad, and truly believe them. I do try and let them know that he is just human, but Cade quickly corrects me and says "uh, uh." One day Scott got home from work and had changed out of his work stuff, and the next thing we knew the boys came out dressed up in Daddy's work stuff ready to go to work.

Snake

So I picked up Crew from his preschool class, and as we were driving away the neighbor lady was poking around her tree, so I pulled over. She said their was a snake in her yard and she was totally freaked out. I asked if she wanted us to get it, and she said "You will pick it up!" I quickly corrected her and let her know that I wouldn't, but Crew would. So out he hopped to look for the snake. Now I was a good mom, and did look to make sure the snake was not poisonous, but then after that..he reached down caught him by the tail and picked it up. We put it in a jar and of course he wanted to bring it home to show his Dad. So home it came with us. He was given all sorts of glory from the neighbors, and all of the rest of his onlooking preschool class. In fact this sweet neighbor even brought him by a thank-you card and candy bar for his heroic action. Needless to say my guy was so proud. The only negative thing to it all was that the snake stunk! I mean fowl, fowl. It took me 24 hrs of scrubbing all kinds of soap products on his hands to get the smell off. Hence the reason the next time he held it, I made him use my gardening glove.

Kindergarten

All mom's talk about their first born going to kindergarten. I am glad to say that I have reached that milestone in my life, and am ok with it. I love to see her get excited to go to school and to stretch her little shy self... Now if it was all day..It would be a different story. Here she is on her first day!

Cade wanted more ice cream. It was late and he just had not had enough. Scott got a few shots of him being oh so sad.
