Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was wonderful thanks to my mother-in-law. We went up to her house the night before and saw her and some cousins. The next day I did my minor contribution of a salad and veggie platter, while she did, pies, turkey stuffing, potatoes, gravy, rolls, etc.... She of course did it all with ease, while my one jello salad took me three hours to complete with my interrupting children. I forgot to mention the little side project she decided to do with my daughter to let her help contribute to the day. They made little side cups to place our M&M's in. The M&M idea came from Crew's school. He was so excited to share with us this great idea his teacher told him about. For each M&M that you put in your cup you would say one of your Many Many blessings! Once your cup was overflowing, you could eat them up.... the kids were so excited. So excited in fact that I think next year we will have to do it AFTER our meal, due to the large consumption of chocolate before we even ate. After our fabulous dinner, I visited with family and took care of Afton while Scott took the kids outside to play football. They had a blast. I managed to get a few shots of them having fun outside, but of course my mind was so focused on eating, that I forgot to get a picture of the beautiful table and yummy food. The next few days we relaxed at Grandmas house. The kids played with cousins and Grandma helped with watching the kids while Scott recouped from being sick, and I caught up on sleep. What an amazing mother-in-law I have! Thanks again!
