First Snow Fall

Avery was the first to wake and look outside to see the snow! She was so excited she ran into her brothers room and woke them up. They could not wait to go out and play. So excited in fact that I used that to my advantage. As soon as there chores were done, they could go outside and play, and man did they clean up fast. (am I a mean Mom or what) I was so impressed when I looked out the window and saw that they had made a snowman out of the little snow that fell. I was also a little bit sad, because in all years past they have needed their Mom to help them make a snowman! I guess big sister is taking over some of my duties. She would get the snow started for them, and they would roll the ball bigger and bigger. Then Crew and Avery lifted the balls together to make their snowman. It is so much fun watching them grow, and seeing how excited they get when they accomplish things on their own.
