On Sunday night I found out that my Grandpa was in the hospital and was not doing good at all. I was very sad. That night I was also up with a very sick baby, who was fevering and miserable. I usually get up and make my kids breakfast before school, but I was so tired. I decided to stay in bed and have them get cold cereal for themselves. The next thing I know the kids, 8, 6, and 4 year old, had made me scrambled eggs and toast, with a side of salsa and a glass of milk. They brought it to me in bed, and said that it was because I was worried about my Grandpa, and I was up all night. I seriously don't know how I lucked out with such amazing kids, but I am keepin' them. Oh, and p.s., I have never let them use the gas stove before..scary.

Are you serious? They COOKED breakfast for you? A bowl of cereal is one thing....SCRAMBLED EGGS is another!! You DO have awesome kids...I'd keep them for sure!! :)

Breakfast in bed. How sweet! I think you have great kids because they have such great parents.
Lindsay, That is so sweet. My kids have done that before too. They brought me toast and hot chocolate. Don't you just love those moments when kids show how much they love you. It makes me melt.
